About

Constantinos Pavlides is a versatile drummer, performer, and educator with over two decades of experience across Europe. Known for his powerful, drumming style, he holds a Diploma in Drums and Modern Music from the Nakas Conservatory in Athens (2005) and a BA in Jazz Drums from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague (2010).

Constantinos has toured internationally, performing at prominent festivals and sharing stages with world-class musicians.

As the author of Live Well - Drum Well, he offers drummers a holistic approach to mastering their art.

With numerous album, EP, and film soundtrack recordings to his name, Constantinos brings creativity and professionalism to every project, from live gigs to studio sessions.

He proudly endorses Sabian Cymbals and Balbex Drumsticks.

Current Projects

George Solonos Band (2021 – Present)
An 8-piece ensemble delivering a powerful rock experience infused with the sophistication of a string quartet. The band captivates audiences across Cyprus and at renowned festivals abroad, including Rock Pod Kamenom and Slizovica in Slovakia, creating an unforgettable musical journey.

In Honor of… Metallica (2024 – Present)
A high-energy Metallica tribute band with sold-out shows across Cyprus, paying homage to one of heavy metal music’s greatest acts.

Arcadian Child (2019 – Present)
A psychedelic rock band performing across Europe, with appearances at Rialto Theatre Alt Music Festival (Cyprus), Faith In The City (Greece), and Soulstone Gathering Festival (Poland).

Delirium Elephants (2017 – Present)
An alternative rock band with performances in Cyprus and Germany, known for their captivating shows and festival appearances at events like Fengaros Festival (Cyprus) and Zyprische Miniaturen (Germany)

Past Bands & Projects

Barebone (2014 – 2023)
As a founding member, Constantinos helped shape Barebone’s dynamic rock sound, performing at major venues in Cyprus and internationally. Highlights include opening for top Slovakian bands Horkýže Slíže, Slobodná Európa, and Polemic, and playing at the Masters of Rock Festival (Czech Republic).

Sulphur Generation (2002 – 2009)
As a founding member, Constantinos brought this rock band to stages across Cyprus and Greece, sharing the stage with renowned acts like Whitesnake, Paradise Lost, Katatonia and Anathema.

Teaching & Education

Constantinos offers private drum lessons, catering to students of all ages and skill levels. His teaching combines solid technique, music theory, and adaptable methods tailored to individual student goals. He previously taught at:

Performance

Founding member of the Rock band BAREBONE (2014 - present). The band performed in all the major venues in Cyprus, as well as clubs and venues in Slovakia and Czech Rep. Barebone has also performed in well-known international festivals worldwide such as:

Founding member of the Rock band SULPHUR GENERATION (2002 - 09).
Sulphur played all over Cyprus and Greece, and more notably supported world class acts such as:

Paradise Lost (July 2009)

As a jazz drummer he performed live at a wide variety of venues and events in Cyprus, Greece and Holland with different ensembles such as piano trios, horn quartets and quintets. He performed several times as part of the Royal Conservatory big band (2007-2010). Substituted for legendary jazz drummer Peter Erskine as a rehearsal drummer (March 2009).
